We present the virtual programming of the MIFDB on Filmin with a selection of mythical films from the New Queer Cinema wave. It is a set of comedies directed during the nineties by iconic lesbian filmmakers: Cheryl Dune, Jamie Babbit and Marta Batllebò-Coll. This selection proposes a dialogue with other pieces from the platform’s catalogue that are nourished thematically, narratively and aesthetically by the projects directed by these pioneering women of the New Queer Wave.

The programme welcomes the incorporation of the complete filmography of Catalan filmmaker Marta Batllebò-Coll on Filmin.
